I'm taking a hiatus to Utah/Las Vegas for a week

Now I'm not saying that I won't be posting.

But I am not gonna promise anything either...

I will miss you Florida

Song of the Day...

I'm sorry that every blog I post lately has Demi in it but I can't help it!

I love her.

So today's song of the day is a theme song of mine. It is called "Don't Forget" by, of course, Demi Lovato.

Here are the lyrics:

Did you forget

That I was even alive
Did you forget
Everything we ever had
Did you forget
Did you forget
About me

Did you regret (did you regret)
Ever standing by my side
Did you forget (did you forget)
What we were feeling inside
Now I'm left to forget
About us

But somewhere we went wrong
We were once so strong
Our love is like a song
You can't forget it

So now I guess
This is where we have to stand
Did you regret
Ever holding my hand
Never again
Please don't forget
Don't forget

We had it all
We were just about to fall
Even more in love
Than we were before
I won't forget
I won't forget
About us

But somewhere we went wrong
We were once so strong
Our love is like a song
You can't forget it

Somewhere we went wrong
We were once so strong
Our love is like a song
You can't forget it
At all

And at last
All the pictures have been burned
And all the past
Is just a lesson that we've learned
I won't forget
Please don't forget us

Somewhere we went wrong
Our love is like a song
But you won't sing along
You've forgotten
About us

Don't forget

Raindrops on roses and strawberry mini-wheats...

You know how much I love lists and photoshop. So today I thought I would combine the two and post a list of my top ten obsessions as of late, accompanied by beautiful orb pictures! So what am I waiting for?

1. I love the fall so much. The leaves are better looking, Halloween comes, and the weather changes so I don't have to dance in Africa and more!

2. I know, I talk about it all the time. But HSM3 is gonna be SO AWESOME! Not only the movie but the new show at the studios...hypothetically...I know nothing about it

3. Strawberry Frosted Mini-Wheats are amazing. They are my favorite cereal right now. I love them.

4. This one has already had an entire blog devoted to it. I love you Demi Lovato.

5. With High School Musical 2: School's Out! closing at the studios, there were A LOT of pictures being taken. But lets be honest, dancers are egocentric and take "pics" of themselves all the time anyway. Either way, people have been taking pictures a lot lately and I along with my dear friend Erin have made it our personal mission to get into the background of as many pictures as possible. Try it sometime. It is exhilarating.

6. My favorite lunch lately has been Brie (its a french cheese), grapes, salami, and wheat thins. It is so good. I have been eating extra meals throughout the day just so I can eat more!

7. Lately I have been putting flowers in my room in vases and either the colors, the smell or the increase in oxygen has put me in a better mood. I recommend it.

8. Along with the smell of fresh flowers I HAVE to burn incense. I love the smells they release, they relax me.

9. Having dinner with my Gypsy family is the most enjoyable thing I can think of doing. It feels like family dinner minus the awkward relatives. So comfy and fun and warm. Huzzah.

10. Spending all of the little money I have on itunes is what I do best.

Happy: Fall

Seeing that it is kinda turning to fall now Myself in Center has changed the pictures on her wall to match the season. SO enjoy

I Love the Lovato...

If you read my blog or know ANYTHING about my life you know I am a fan of High School Musical. For many reasons:

  1. Job Security
  2. Catchy Music
  3. Attractive Young Adults
So naturally when I heard the concept of Camp Rock I was extremely opposed to the idea. High School Musical is supposed to be the only Disney Channel Musical. Stop being a copy cat Jonas Brothers! When it premiered on the Disney Channel I watched it (for research purposes) and was happy to see that it was awful.

One good thing came from Camp Rock for me though. A little gem named Demi Lovato. She is the ingenue in the "film" (I use that term loosely) and she wasn't that amazing in it. But what do you expect Disney has crappy scripts.

I then went onto i tunes and downloaded her single "Get Back" and I was instantly in love. This girl has some pipes and a good producer. If you are a fan of rock-but-more-like-pop-but-we-still-call-it-rock music you will be a fan.

If you turn your attention to your ears you should hear her singing this moment. The reason being that this week or month or however long I decide to keep it up, the music on Myself in Center will be purely Demi.

So enjoy it cause it isn't gonna change anytime soon.

Oh and here is her music video for "Get Back". She is so adorable I love her. And her awesome gloves. My favorite is the little look she gives at 1:20. SO precious

Breaking Dawn is Breaking My Spirit...

Lets just begin with I'm sorry...again.

I keep apologizing for not writing and promising that the lack in postage will end but then

But I'm back I promise. I haven't given up on blogging. I love it things have just been cray cray around here lately. Anywho.

So I, along with many others, am in love with Stephenie Meyer's Twilight Series. If you haven't read them seriously, just give in and do it. I know you are trying to be a rebel and challenge the status quo and everything. I get it. Just vote democratic and chain yourself against a rain forest that is being demolished or something. It is just a book. It's popular for a reason.

Sorry. Anywho. If you are disinclined to read the Twilight series in anyway, stop reading now.

So I read Twilight and I was hooked. The writing is on point, the story is adicting and I am in love with the characters. Then I moved onto New Moon. It was good, I got over the fact that Edward was gone, I hated Jacob, he's a douche, but it was good. Eclipse began and it was pretty good. The love was there still, I now hated Bella AND Jacob but Edward was still around so I accepted it. I was pissed off by the tent scene. But still good.

Breaking Dawn. I am poor right. I work at Disney, it is no cash cow for us movers. We've gone over this. Well my roommate bought the book and I said that I would read it after he was done. He read it speedily and passed it onto me.

I opened this book and after two chapters I wanted to kill myself (* note: not literally, just a figure of speech). Not because the story was bad. It is so amazing so far. I'm addicted. All my favorite (and least favorite *cough* jacob *cough*) characters are still around. The problem is this:

Lets be honest kids, my love life isn't the most amazing thing on the planet. Lets be frank, it sucks. My biggest fear in my life is that after everything, I will end up the odd one out; everyone around me coupling up to leave me alone. TMI? Well there you have it. Anywho. every time I try and explain this to someone I get the same responses:

"You are only 20, why are you worrying about it?"
"Why don't you just enjoy being single?"
"You aren't gonna end up alone, I will be your friend forever."

Then I say in response:

"I may only be 20 but before I know it, I will only be 30, then only be 40." Time flies, and you can't refute that argument.
"What is the point of enjoying myself making amazing memories if I have no one to share them with?" Honestly.
"I love you too, and I am so glad that we are friends but in the end, if it came down to me or the person that you want to be with the rest of your life, I am gonna be the second choice."

So this is what I think about probably 65% of the time, no joke. I really worry about it for some reason. So onto my point. Breaking Dawn starts of with the most amazing wedding every written down on paper. The love that these characters have for each other kills me because that is exactly what I want in life. So reading this amazing book has been basically depressing me like crazy lately. Like the book is saying "Haha this is what you want to have but can't find. Haha you suck!"

But I am so torn about it because it is SO amazing and I am so invested! But it is SOOOO DEPRESSING! Is that weird? Please let me know if ANYONE feels the same way.

Blogs I adorez...

This post that is about to happen right now is pure advertisement. I just wanted to get that off my chest before we begin.

I would like to direct your attention to the right hand side of my blog to the "Blogs I Adore" section. Now I dunno if you have ever noticed this section but it is vital in my life. Lemme explain.

As I have written about before, every morning I have a very strict routine that always includes reading the recent updates on my favorite blogs. They all make me happy in their own special way. It is a great way, in my opinion, to start the day.

So today I decided that I am going to recommend, in further detail, some of my favorite blogs to you, so you, in turn, can start your day off like a champion as well.

Bry's Favorite Blogs:

I freaking LOVE this blog. Honestly, this site is the one responsible for turning me back onto blogging in the first place. Here are some reasons I love Flutterby:

  1. It is SO atheistically pleasing I can't handle it
  2. The pictures are always either a) Originals taken by the blog's author or b) organized and beautified in photoshop
  3. Her writing is, for lack of a better word, lovely

The Jolly Porter

If you ever feel the need to laugh hysterically, please do yourself a favor and go to The Jolly. I cannot tell you how many times this blog has made me literally lol. I love this site because:

  1. His wit seriously astounds me
  2. He writes blogs about the most mundane life occurrences, but they are some of the funniest things I have ever heard
  3. It is constantly being updated so the laughter never has to end!

That Brave, Unbalanced Woman

If sarcasm is your thing let me introduce this little jem. Here is why this blog is awesome:

  1. No blog has ever been more saturated with sarcasm and contempt for stupidity
  2. She loves a good list (which you know I do as well)
  3. Her observations of everyday life make me actually consider wanting to live the college life...sorta
  4. The author is amazing and I love her...isn't that reason enough?

If you have any prior experience with my blog you have probably seen me reference someone named Josh, probably in contempt or an angry rage. Well this is his blog. Why do we love Jish? Lets explore:

  1. His post titles never disappoint, you know it's gonna be good the second you see the title
  2. It's like the male version of Brave Unbalanced, with all the amazing lists and sarcasm
  3. Celebration Pam is mentioned frequently which is always good
  4. On Dry humor...I give it a ten..ish :)
The Daily Casey

Want a little pop culture in your life? The Daily Casey has it for you.

  1. Clever post titles
  2. The music that comes with this blog is never one to disappoint
  3. The taste in music/movies is always advice to follow

The Perfect Me

This blog is special to me. If you ever want advice on what to do with your life, if you're doing the right thing, or just need someone to make you feel better, this is the blog for you

  1. It is a newer blog but the few entries are so insightful
  2. It has real adive from someone who has "been there done that.."
  3. It's written by someone you can actually momma :)

So there you have it kids. Go look em up! I promise its worth it!

Just so you know that I am still alive!

I just like this picture I took at Steak N' Shake. It has no relevance to the following post.

So I have been majorly slacking in the blogging lately. I'm SORRY! I know I falling too far behind when Josh is posting more frequently then I am!

The problem I guess is writer's block. I have just been extremely unmotivated lately. I have no inspiration for anything to write. Even now I don't really have a point or reason for writing this other than I feel bad that I have left you guys hanging. Assuming that someone reads this blog frequently. According to blogger I have one follower so, one follower...I'm sorry.

I did however add new music to the site. So every time you come to my page you don't hear the same four songs any more.

I am going to end with a list (you know I love lists) of some things I have learned and then as a result taken a cell phone picture of:

1) Test fabric on your skin before you tie it to your forehead for an extended amount of time. You never know how it will leave your skin afterward

2) The people who name the crayon colors have been given A LOT more artistic freedom as of late, a classic example is "Beaver Brown"

3) Speaking of artistic freedom, the workers at i Hop are quite creative when it comes to "Birthday Surprises"

4) Sarah has the worst Tarot Card readings e

5) Babies are always cute, even if you don't like their outfits or parents.

6) If Urban Outfitters doesn't have a bag big enough for your items, they will use a trash bag.

7) I DO NOT look good in fishnet

8) Nor with an earring

9) You can learn t
o be a confident woman at The Salvation Army

10) The Princesses are cool and everything, but Nicole likes Goliath better

Curse the Internet!

So our internet has been broken for like a week. So I apologize for the lack of postage. You better believe that there are some juicy blogs coming up! SO be patient and I promise good things are on their way!

Until then here is a video of a puppy yelling "I want out" over and over again. Animal neglect has never been so fun.
