This time I have an excuse...

I haven't be writing, but ya wanna know why?

I had surgery, so I look and feel like hell,

Let these pictures illustrate:

Now I'm not gonna get into details of the surgery cause it is gross and long but basically I have kidney issues so they put a big old plastic tube in my kidney for 4 days and it makes it really hurt when I:

  1. Cough
  2. Laugh
  3. Burp
  4. Prance

So basically I can't do anything. And it sucks.

So I just wanted to let you know that I wasn't ditching you guys...

It just hurts to move.

But you are all in my heart still...

Just like that tube is in my kidney.

Now excuse me while I go back to sleep for another 4 hours.

P.S. Yes I am wrapped in a leopard snuggie. What of it?!

To Not Be Alone...

"I wonder what its like
to not be alone
To echo through my life
with love inside my bones
I ponder how it feels
to wrap up this futile chase
To finally feel secure
in a real love's embrace
I crave for the feeling
of my romance now secured
Although it is a feeling
of which I've scarcely heard
I curse at the hours
I writhe here on my own
I wonder what it's like
to not be alone"

I'll going to be watching the extended version of this:

Hopefully there is a little more to it than that...

Snarky Gays...

I'm in love with this sign that showed up at a Gay Rights Rally in NYC.

Leave it to the gays to be sarcastic even when it comes to their civil rights.

Here is another funny one:

HA! You judge their lifestyle, they will judge your terrible outfit.

Thanks to Kenneth in the (212) and Boing Boing! for the shots!

21 Accents... that I am jealous of...

Ok guys.

I just saw this video on the Facebook belonging to a friend of mine.

And it is so cool to me.

I dunno why I think it is so cool but I have watched it like a thousand times.

Watch it it's cool

I feel like I don't know the real you...

My Conversation with the Confident Moon...

Last night I had the most simple and honestly spiritual experience.

It wasn't anything grand or tremendous. You may even roll your eyes or dismiss this entry as trite when you are done with it, but I just have to share it with you.

Nothing so normal has ever touched me so much.

As I said before, it was nothing grandiose or elaborate.

It was just moonlight.

As I slept I felt light fall upon my face. It was so bright and precise that I thought it had to be sunlight, indicating the beginning of another day.

But as I opened my eyes I realized that the rays were not from the sun, because the sun was still on the opposite side of the world.

No, I was awoken by the brightest moonlight I have even seen. It was so delicate and crisp as it traced the shape of my window across my bedsheets, lacing everything it brushed across with a thin layer of silver.

I sat up and just stared out my window into the face of the largest moon I've ever had a conversation with. It hung there with such poise and confidence, not apologizing for waking me up, but rather saying "you're welcome" for casting such simple beauty into my bedroom. It's voice sounded like "Clair Du Lune" and I never wanted to stop listening to it's song.

I sat and gazed for a time that I cannot measure, because it was one of the most centered moments I have ever experienced. I just bathed in the moonlight and felt gratitude for the pure light that was washing over my fingertips.

I drank up as much as I could handle and thanked the moon for sharing with me such simple beauty. I laid back down and as the last bit of moonlight tucked over me, I fell back asleep under the gaze of the confident moon.

I pray that I the silver moon will whisper to me again tonight...

Celebreate Photos of ME!

So there is this great photographer here at Disney World named Daniel Gorman.

He is really talented and loves coming and taking pictures of the shows here and the best part is that he puts the pictures on Facebook and lets us have them for free!

I love this because, in my opinion, you can't put a price on pictures of yourself performing.

But I'm poor.

So I wanted to share some snap shots he got of me yesterday.

I love you

myself in center

has received a make over

what do you think?

Thanksgiving is Better in St. Louis

So I know that I already posted this picture but I just think it is SO damn funny!

So I had to use it again.

I wanted to post a picture account of how my Thanksgiving Holiday turned out.

When I woke up, I had two stow-aways in bed with me!
After that I did Block Party Bash, blah blah blah, it was awful blah blah.
Then I came home and set the table. Isn't it pretty?

Then I made a cheese plate.

Sarah & Barret held hands and made me want to vomit, in a cute I'm super jealous way.

So I drank my sorrows with Moscato-Spumante Champagne.
Not really, but kinda.

Whoops, there's proof. How did that get in there?!

Cirque Du Solerin was concentrating on something. I'm not sure what.

Then Peter said something and she made this face.

Evie was exhausted before we even began dessert.

Milo, the Kitty with No Name, was busy avoiding everyone.

Then, while we were busy taking pictures of the cat, Evie struck and stole some stuffing from my plate.

Then she felt super awkward cause I caught her. Whoops, not so smooth Evie.

To conclude the night, the lucky cats used the cork from the champagne to have a dinner of their own.

It was holiday joy had by all.

Then Sarah, Cirque Du Solerin and I sat down and watched this while we drifted off to sleep.

I love this movie.

What did you do?

Isn't that such a hilarious picture of a turkey?

I thought so.

Anywho, this may be super trite and boring to you but it seems to be a blogging tradition on THANKSgiving to make a list of the things that we are THANKful for.

I know, I know, it has been done, but I think it is always good to show gratitude for the things you have because it puts you in the mindset to receive more blessings.

And who doesn't want blessings?

Idiots, that's who.

So do you wanna be an idiot?

Didn't think so.
So after you read my list I want you to make a list of your own and post it as a comment.

Cause like Eckhart Tolle said:

"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance."

So here is mine:

  1. I'm thankful for all of the spirits that touch my life everyday, from my family (even though they all are having a party on the other side of the country without me! geeze guys), my friends, my co-workers and my little dog Evie.
  2. Im thankful for my Macbook, which includes the internet, blogging, Photoshop, Illustrator, Garage Band, Final Cut and iTunes.
  3. I'm thankful for music because it is my drug of choice (along with crack (which as you know is wack))
  4. I'm thankful for my job, because even though it involves destroying my body at a young age, working inhumane hours on holidays that everyone else has off, and being forced to high five dirty, swine-flu ridden children, I still love it.
  5. I'm thankful that my 1994 Honda Accord is still running, even though the engine shuts off every time I come to a stop light.
  6. I'm thankful to Lady Gaga for founding a religion I can finally commit to
  7. I'm thankful for P.I. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker (Complete Ballet Score) for providing the soundtrack to this post.
  8. I'm thankful that I live on the third floor because, even though it sucks when I have 37 bags of groceries, I feel like I live in a tree house so it's worth it.
  9. I'm thankful for books because there are so many I will never run out of stories to read and they look pretty on my bookshelf.
  10. And finally I am thankful to you for reading this blog. I put so much time and energy into it and the only reason I do it is for you.
So thank you.

Now it's your turn.

Happy Thanksgiving

Tis the Season...

For Cast Jackets here at Disney World.

So naturally I am pretty busy designing a bunch of jackets/shirts/parkas/underwear/fanny packs ect.

Here is something I just made for Peter's Romance Unit in the Christmas Parade.

It's not done but what do you think?

Gaga you so crazy...

Soooooooooooooooo if you have read my blog before you know that I belong to the Church of Lady Gaga.

I love her majesty like mad.

I especially love her new video for "Bad Romance" seen below:

However, that is not what this post is about today.

It is actually about a ridiculous offer that is on her website right now.

So you may or may not know that she is re-releasing her first album "The Fame"

You can pre-order this new version but you can also order a shiny (and expensive) DELUX package.

The contents of this package are kinda retarded. I took a screen shot so you could see what it contains, straight from the Gaga's mouth (I also highlighted the most insane ones) Click on it to make it bigger:

Here is a zoomed in shot:

I'm speechless.

She's crazy.

But I love her.

PS anyone have $150 so I can have a piece of her hair all to myself?

Teenage Angst...

This is a picture of me in High School.

Not High School Musical but actual high school.

Today is my off day from work so, naturally, it is my day to catch up on my blogging. So I was surfing the net like a usually do and I thought:

"I haven't been to my myspace in ages. I should go check it out."

My main motivation in signing back into the relic know as my Myspace profile was to read old blog I had written when it was cool to blog (or do anything for that matter) on your Myspace Profile.

I first was distracted by the multitude of pictures on my profile, which I've decided that's the only reason I haven't erased my profile yet, because there are some really sick pictures on there and I am too lazy to save all of them to my computer. Then I turned my attention to the blog area of my profile.

I was very surprised to see that I was a very angsty teenager!

When I think about my teenage years I don't really recall being as emotional and full of inner torment as my blog conveys.

But from the looks of it I was.

It seems that I was really lonely. Which I now that I think of it, I guess I kinda was.

Anywho, I wanted to share a poem that I had written on Friday, March 10, 2006.

This world is scary

I feel it caving in

Hurts and anger solidify

My feelings hide within

My parents are apart

Split among my kin

I want to scream in hatred

My feelings hide within

This is what I'm supposed to think

Other thoughts are sin

I want to shriek and prove them wrong

My feelings hide within

I want to dance, and paint, and sing

Put on a suit and pin

Don't want to be an office boy

My feelings hide within

I want to be different all my life

Be bigger than this bin

Why can't people just be kind?

My feelings hide within

Recently I love:
  1. Lady Gaga's new video for "Bad Romance"
  2. Granola and anything with cranberries in it
  3. Kittens
  4. 11:11 by Regina Spektor
  5. Adobe Illustrator
  6. Christmas in November
  7. Old Couples who go to the Doctor together and speak loudly to each other in the lobby.
  8. The weather being cold enough to not sweat at work
  9. Sleeping with the windows open
  10. Fried Chicken
Recently I hate:
  1. Kidney Stones
  2. Algebra
  3. The Swine Flu
  4. People being deliberately rude
  5. My dirty room and no enthusiasm to clean it
  6. Turning my cell phone off at a doctor's office
  7. Not being able to eat 4 hours before a CT Scan
  8. Country Music (except you Taylor Swift, you're ok)
  9. My car being just as dirty as my room and the same enthusiasm problem as before
  10. The fact that my ti-83 calculator doesn't have a backlight so I can't freaking see the screen at night!
That's what I'm loving/hating lately.

What about you? Go comment and give me some lists reader!!
