OMG I have a new Blog!

SO I have had a dilemma as of late.

It may sound lame but....

I love taking pictures of funny things and then, in turn, uploading the pictures to my blog via my iPhone and sharing them with all of you.

The issue is (which you may scoff at) that I don't like the ugly sharp corners and weird format that the pictures have when I upload them that way.

And by the time I have my wonderful photoshop I am not motivated enough to upload the pics from my phone, edit them and FINALLY post them on my blog.

By that time the pic isn't that funny to me anyway and the point of mobile uploading is to upload things while you are mobile right?

So the only solution I saw was to make an entirely new blog dedicated solely to mobile uploads.

It is called Brycrasch To_Go!

Or you can click on my iPhone in the top right corner of this blog.

Good night my little kangaroo-bears.

xoxo?

Lets go to space.

Last week, as you may have heard, NASA launched another space shuttle.

We decided we wanted to go watch it launch...at 2 a.m.

Here is a photographic account of the trip.

Photobucket

True story.

*Cough*

So I'm sick...again.

Here's the thing about me being sick.

On the one hand I hate being sick cause I am a terrible sick person. I whine, I get lazy and I'm miserable.

On the OTHER hand though.

I get a lot of graphic stuff done on my blog.

So until I am healed I am going to sit in my nest and hibernate.

P.S. I am aware that the picture above is a meat thermometer.

Rant Alert: Dear Roland Emmerich:

You're an asshole.

Lemme rewind.

Ronland Emmerich is the director of the upcoming film 2012, which is claiming to be an accurate depiction of the events that are "going to happen" in December of 2012.

Now, I think all of this 2012 non sense is stupid and fanatic. The world is not going to end in 2012. Just like it didn't end in the year 2000, just like it didn't end on 6/6/06.

Propaganda.

I'm not worried about the actual world ending.

I am, however, worried about the affect all this non sense is beginning to have on the people around me.

One of the marketing campaigns of Emmerich's 2012 is an organization called the Institute for Human Continuity.
Basically, according to Assosiated Content the website is this:
"The Institute for Human Continuity (IHC) is a glossy looking website that one can access to pretend that the apocalyptic events predicted to occur in 2012 will in fact occur and that one can do something to secure one's survival. The Institute for Human Continuity (IHC) is the latest of the kind of Internet viral campaign that has become common to advertise things like upcoming films and TV shows."

Now let me explain.

Basically, the people who are making this movie are preying on people's fears about this upcoming date in order to make money on their film, by advertising this organization without explaining that it is in fact not a real company but in fact a piece from their film. Now, I will admit it is a smart campaign but it really irritates me. Here is why:

I guess I am just concerned about the crazy stuff people are going to do in preparation for this event. People do drastic things when they are scared, and I don't like the fact that this film is aiding in hyping up this event even more than it already is.

So bottom line: If you see commercials for the Institute for Human Continuity, don't worry, its just hollywood.
I just don't want people to stress.
Also, if God was going to end the world, I don't think he would want to tip everyone off with such a specific date. Mark 13 anyone?
"But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33)

Now I know I am not the epitamy of the christian faith, but maybe someone who is concerned about this stuff will take some solace.

Just be be happy today and love the people in your life.

I love you all.

Sorry for the rant.

xoxo?

Music to my cursor...

Guys.

I was reading a blog that I frequent and I saw a post leading to another awesome/pointless site.

Basically, (as explained by omgblog):

"This simple web toy lets you create hypnotic blippy music by illuminating boxes on the matrix."

Its awesome

Thanks to OMG Blog for the scoop!

Anywho.

So for years and years and YEARS I have loved this song called "Dream Girl" by Baldwin Brothers.

Flutterby showed it to me when we were small and I have loved it ever since. . .

Well....

I am thrilled to say that I found the music video for it!

It's awesome so naturally I have it for you.

Shake Your Face Feathers...

So as I mentioned before the Kirks were here for some vacation fun.

One of the many activities in which we partook is called Shakey-Face.

Basically, you shake your face while someone take a picture of it and the results are

AWESOME.

So I made a little collage of the best pics of the night.

Im sorry its small but if you click on it it will be bigger.

Enjoy.

Her Morning Elegance...

I didn't take that picture but I like it cause it reminds me of sleeping.

Anywho

I was recently reminded of how pretty/amazing/time consuming to make this video is recently and, although it is old news, I wanted to post it again.

It makes me want to lay down in bed with the intention of doing the same thing but then falling asleep for hours instead.

.

Since Myself in Center has been in the recession I figured I would post a few pictures of what has been going on lately:

Evie made a new friend, his name is T.I and they are in love (clearly)
Cirqu du Solerin and I went to Vegas
And learned High School Musical

and the Leos celebrated eachother
So that is what has been going on with me lately. Thrilling.

The Recession is over!

The recession has been affecting everything...even my blog, if you haven't noticed its been a famine.

Just like the recession though, I'm back and I have a new burst of blogging energy!

So I fixed the layout and now here we are posting again!

So as I was browsing for background art for the blog I came across an artist I REALLY like. The problem is that I their name isn't listed!

But I saved a few pieces of work to share with you!

I love ink art so much. It makes me want a tattoo.
