Snarky Gays...

I'm in love with this sign that showed up at a Gay Rights Rally in NYC.

Leave it to the gays to be sarcastic even when it comes to their civil rights.

Here is another funny one:

HA! You judge their lifestyle, they will judge your terrible outfit.

Thanks to Kenneth in the (212) and Boing Boing! for the shots!

8 years in 8 Mins...

I feel like everytime I post a video by Keith Olberman I
don't really need to write anything.
He kinda just speaks for himself.

Come on Hilary, Pirate Song!

Watch this amazing video.

Its funny how something so entertaining can come from the news and an autotuner.

I have watched it like thirty times in the last hour.

My favorite part has to be when he harmonizes with Katie Couric and how he keeps calling everyone "shawty"

I would definitely be more inclined to watch the news if it were always in this format.

Amazing.  I want a copy for my iPod.

Here are the lyrics:

You gotta do it like this. Shawty, ready, set, go!
RM: This was a pretty remarkable week on the gay marriage front
First of all, to have a state like Iowa
MG: What you tryna say about Iowa
RM: Not the east coast state
MG: East coast
RM: Not the left coast state
MG: Left coast
RM: In a decision written by a republican appointee
MG: shawty, now you sounding so fine
Give me your number, we can bump and grind
Talkin about politics all night
Leavin the club in the mornin light
If we get carred away
We might get gay-married today

CP: In my country, a marriage should be between a man and a woman
No offense to anybody out there
MG: Uh...dude, what the hell?

KC: We just heard from some of our viewers who strongly support legalizing marijuana
MG: Shawty, 5 of those calls was from me
KC: Do you think we should legalize pot alone or all drugs, including heroine, cocaine, and meth?
MG: My brain says no, but my body says yes!

KC: At the North Pole, new satellite photos show arctic ice is melting so fast
AG: Oh snap, how fast?
KC: Many scientists now believe it will be gone within 30 years
AG: Surely you jest! I'm under cardiac arrest, shawty
KC: Some researchers think it could disappear in just six
AG: Shit!
KC: Without it there could be a snowball effect
AG: Oh
KC: With temperatures rising even faster
If we all don't take bold action and take it fast
AG: Yeah,
Both: We will find ourselves on very thin ice

MG: Tell em, Hillary, pirates on very thin ice
HC: These pirates are criminals
They are armed gangs on the sea
MG: That means the ocean
HC: The United States does not make concessions
Or ransom payments to pirates
...
MG: Hello, shawty, we can meet up at the mall
Browse around at the bookstore
Mentally ball until we fall
Love you, too, grandmom

Happy:

Inauguration Day 2009!

I wish Obams the best of luck in his presidency.

Honestly my favorite thing about today is that this means all the election drama is over. It got the the point where I could care less who won, I just wanted it to be over!

I will miss this special lady though...

You'll always be in my heart

;)

Vote No...

This video made me laugh for several reasons:

1: Molly Ringwald is in it
2: It makes fun of hyper conservative losers
3: I am really tried from work and anything makes me laugh right now

Senator McCreeperton...

A good friend of mine posted this video on his myspace and I happened to watch it today. I know it is just a joke but it really creeped me out!

I dunno if McCain thought about this before agreeing to do it. I think the last thing he should do it try and make light of himself.

Watch the video while I go shower for an hour and try to get the heebie jeebies off of me.

Happy:

Forth of July everyone! As Americans we are obviously the best country so lets shove it down everyone's throats by eating twice our body weight and blowing stuff up! What will I be doing on this "holiday"? Shaking my junk for strangers...business as usual.

I Blame YOU Little Nemo!

Tonight, as I was cooking some dinner I randomly thought of this movie that I used to watch constantly when I was little. Ya know how little kids get a movie they like then put it on loop for the next five years? That was me. It's called "Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland". Now we didn't actually own this movie but the older woman that lived next to us did. So whenever her grandkids, who were our age, would come over we would go knock on her door and ask if we could watch the Nemo movie. She would bring us into her living room, give us a bag of gingersnaps (which I never really liked but they were free so of course I ate the entire bag), and popped the movie into the VCR.

This happened a lot and I loved it but, as I think back, this movie seriously freaked me out. Even now, looking back on it, I get the heebies. First of all it is an anime, so it is totally not meant for small children. Cartoon doesn't always equal kid friendly. But I don't blame the old woman cause we would ask for it and she liked the company. Anywho. It is about this kid named Nemo, who lives in London with his neglectful parents. Well On night he is in his bed and it takes flight, out his window and into Slumberland. Now I am a little fuzzy on the details but from what I remember is this:

  • He arrives at Slumberland and meets the king (I think his name is Morpheus)
  • For some reason, they make him the prince of Slumberland (why not?)
  • They give him a key to the city that opens any door, but of course there is one he is never to open
  • I am gonna let you guess what he does now
  • During a grand celebration the Nightmare King, that he just released from the door he wasn't suppose to open attacks
  • He kidnaps the king
  • Nemo has a grand battle and saves him
  • It was all a dream...or was it?
Now the whole thing is a little one to many magic mushrooms for me but the thing that really freaked me out was the nightmare king himself. Lets see a screen shot:

Yikes. It's funny to look at what kids watch now as opposed to what we watched growing up. Maybe thats the reason things are so screwed up now. Thanks a lot Little Nemo. The war in Iraq is your fault!

I'm Voting Repubican

Haha not really. I'm actually not voting at all. Not a fan of Jury Duty. But this video is pretty funny. Tell me what you think. Did it sway all you ridiculous Democrats?
